About the Music
The Savage Journey will be set to the music of KJ Sawka. The primary type of music being performed is called drum and bass (D&B). D&B is a type of electronic dance music also known as "jungle" which emerged in the early 1990's. The genre is characterized by fast tempo broken beat drums with heavy, often intricate basslines. Drum and bass began as an offshoot of the UK breakbeat and rave music scene of the late 1980s, and over the first decade of its existence there were many permutations in its style, incorporating elements from funk, hip hop, jazz, heavy metal, reggae and rock.
